There are some great winter hikes in Wisconsin! There is so much to see and do in the Badger State this time of year. In fact, some hiking trails are even more pretty in winter. Here are some of the best walking tours worth seeing:

  • One of our favorite winter trails is Palfrey’s Glen in Merrimac. Considered the first designated natural area in Wisconsin, this trail is a pretty place for solitude and reflection.
  • Another area to explore this season is Lapham Peak in the southern unit of the Kettle Moraine. During the winter season, the park lights a 2.5-mile loop to provide better visibility.
