Of the 17 players named to the MLB Team of the Month for June, two Milwaukee Brewers pitchers made the cut: Tobias Myers and Trevor Megill. Tobias Myers is a rookie, while Trevor Megill is having a mighty season, replacing Devin Williams as the closer.

How did Tobias Myers perform in June?
In June, Tobias Myers made five starts, threw 31.1 innings, had a 1.44 ERA, 0.89 WHIP and a .185 batting average against. He threw eight one-hit innings against the Detroit Tigers and four of his five starts went at least six innings. The increased employ of his four-seam fastball in place of the cutter is credited as one reason for his success.
How did Trevor Megill perform in June?
Coming out of the bullpen, Trevor Megill had a month of June that consisted of 12.1 innings pitched, a 0.73 ERA (one earned run), 12 strikeouts, and had nine of nine saves. His monthly WHIP was 0.81 and his batting average was .146 against.
