Milwaukee Breweries star rookie Jackson Chourio is finally starting to gain recognition in Major League Baseball. The 20-year-old has been one of the best hitters in the game since the calendar flipped to June and has now climbed into the top 10 of MLB’s power hitter rankings.

Since June 2, Jackson Chourio has a .321/.378/.557 slash line with 14 home runs, 53 RBIs, and 13 stolen bases. That gives him his highest batting average and on-base percentage since then. He is also third in on-base plus slugging (.935) and fourth in slugging percentage.

On Thursday, September 5, MLB Network released its top 10 player rankings. Jackson Chourio came in ninth on the list. He was followed by Brent Rooker (8), Francisco Lindor (7), Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (6), Yordan Alvarez (5), Juan Soto (4), Bobby Witt Jr. (3), Shohei Ohtani (2), and Aaron Judge (1). Lawrence Butler of the Oakland Athletics rounded out the list in 10th place.
