Milwaukee Bucks’ Damian Lillard sends motivating message ahead of 2024-25 season

Despite facing many challenges throughout his career, All-Star Damian Lillard has always done his best to overcome them. The Milwaukee Bucks point guard recently shared some words of wisdom ahead of the 2024-25 NBA season.

A towering figure in the NBA, Lillard has made a significant impact since being drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers in 2012. He quickly became a top player, winning the NBA Rookie of the Year Award in 2013. Over the years, Lillard has been selected as an All-Star multiple times and has received numerous All-NBA Team honors, showcasing his exceptional skills as a playmaker.

Lillard is known for his key plays, often making critical shots in high-pressure situations, earning him the nickname “Dame Time.” His career highlights include being named to the All-NBA First Team in 2018 and winning the NBA Three-Point Contest twice. He also played a key role in leading the Trail Blazers to the Western Conference Finals in 2019.

In 2021, Lillard contributed to the U.S. Olympic team, winning a gold medal at the Tokyo OlympicsAfter being traded in 2023, he joined the Milwaukee Bucks, further expanding his legacy in the league.

Lillard suffered a disappointing first-round exit last season, when the Bucks were eliminated by the Indiana Pacers. Even so, the point guard still tries to dish out some of his wisdom, as seen in Official All-Star Instagram Account.

The Last SeasonThe point guard averaged 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 73 games. However, an injury kept Lillard out of the Bucks’ first round against Indiana, causing an early exit from the postseason.
