In 2009, Nate Huck interned with the Minnesota DNR in its shallow lakes program. Now, 14 years later, he’s back at the same DNR office in Brainerd, this time as a resident gamebird consultant, a newly created position within the department.
Huck has spent time in Wisconsin, Texas, Wyoming, and Pennsylvania on various wildlife biology assignments. He is looking forward to returning to the Midwest and developing a up-to-date site that will benefit Minnesota wildlife and potentially hunters as well.
