As Wisconsin gets closer to harvest and football seasons, nothing says fall like a football-themed corn maze. Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation and the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association are proud to recognize four of their members who are connecting Project 2025 to the state’s agriculture industry.
“Much like football, farming is a team effort for Wisconsin farm families. It’s special that the local 2025 Draft organizing committee approached us to consider our farmers for upcoming promotions,” said WFBF President Brad Olson. “We’re excited to see four farms kick off the 2025 Draft celebration this fall in their corn mazes.”
Participating farms include Feltz’s Dairy Store in Stevens Point, Petals and Plows in Ripon, Polly’s Pumpkin Patch in Chilton and Porters Patch in Bonduel.
“We are excited to partner with these Wisconsin family farms to help build excitement for the 2025 Draft in Green Bay,” said Aaron Popkey, Packers Director of Public Relations and a member of the local organizing committee. “These unique mazes will celebrate our strong agricultural identity and honor the hard work and dedication of farmers across the state, while also reminding fans of the unique opportunity we have to showcase Wisconsin when the Draft comes to Green Bay.”
We encourage fall enthusiasts of all ages to take part in the Maze Challenge sponsored by Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association AND Collect Wisconsin.
“Wisconsin is home to hundreds of corn mazes, some of the best in the Midwest. Visitors navigating the corn mazes engage all of their senses and use curiosity, problem-solving and communication skills to find their way out of the maze,” said Sheila Everhart, executive director of the Wisconsin Agricultural Tourism Association. “Most importantly, this immersive experience helps teach visitors where corn is grown and provides a meaningful connection to Wisconsin farms.”
To take part in the maze challenge, simply visit one of the corn mazes on WATA farms between September 19 and October 31 for a chance to win prizes. Simply share a photo of your visit on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #WATAMAZE.
Feltz’s Dairy Store, Stevens Point
As the city of Stevens Point began to grow, the Feltz family saw an opportunity to make their farm a destination for the community. Ken and Jackie Feltz, along with their children Jake, Jared, and Taryn, own Feltz Family Farms and Dairy Store, which offers a variety of dairy products, farm supplies, and local specialty items. The store features viewing windows into the robot barn, allowing visitors to watch the cows being milked while enjoying ice cream or delicious fresh cheeses.
This fall, the Feltz family is excited to showcase Draft 2025 as part of their seasonal corn maze.
“It’s a natural fit to combine our dairy and cheese background with the rich football tradition in Green Bay and throughout Wisconsin,” said Jake Feltz. “Visitors can expect something for the whole family when they come to visit.”
Feltz’s Dairy Store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and Sundays from September 21 to October 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Feltz’s Dairy Farm Store is located at 5796 Porter Drive, Stevens Point. Flakes and Plows, Ripon
Petals and Plows, owned by Wayne and JoAnn Kaufman, is a unique family farm located near Ripon. With the aid of their son Wade, the farm has a greenhouse from spring to fall and lots of fun fall activities. Wade’s wife, Haley, manages social media and event planning for the farm. They also offer sweet corn, pumpkins, zucchini and gourds that are fresh and ripe to pick.
This year, the one-of-a-kind Petals and Plows corn maze commemorates the 2025 draft.
“When people come out this fall, they can expect a good old-fashioned family farm adventure,” said Haley Kaufman. “There are tons of photo opportunities, pumpkins, chrysanthemums, a playground for the kids and more!”
The Petals and Plows corn maze opens September 7 and will be open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 9219 Kaufman Road, Ripon. Learn more about Petals and Plows by visiting Flakes and Plows.com.
Polly’s Pumpkin Field, Chilton
Polly’s Pumpkin Patch is a miniature family farm and market owned by Gary Juckem and his wife Polly Roland in northeastern Wisconsin, north of Chilton. The family’s history on the property began in 1889 when Gary’s great-grandparents purchased the farm. Polly’s Pumpkin Patch opened in 2003 when they purchased the Juckem family farm.
In addition to the annual corn maze, Polly’s Pumpkin Patch offers a huge selection of gourds and pumpkins, a farm shop selling everything from fresh pies to caramel apples, and freshly made apple cider doughnuts made daily.
“We are so happy to have been selected to create one of the 2025 Draft mazes and share the excitement of the Draft coming to Green Bay!” said Polly Roland. “Families can spend a whole day at Polly’s. Our 15-acre corn maze has over four miles of trail divided into two sections: a larger, more challenging section with games and a smaller, easier section for families.”
Polly’s Pumpkin Patch opens for the fall season on September 13th and is located at N4367 Highway 57, Chilton. Learn more about Polly’s Pumpkin Patch and PollysPumpkinPatch.com.
