Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love practiced for the second consecutive day on Thursday, records show. Wes Hodkiewicz from the band’s official website.
Love returned Wednesday on a circumscribed basis for the first time since injuring his left knee in the season opener. While he is still working his way through the day, Love’s availability to practice with a pad after working on his knee Wednesday has to be seen as a good sign of his potential availability for Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
Love, who has an MCL injury in his left knee, did not practice last week. He was initially listed as questionable to play but was later downgraded to questionable and the Packers made him inactive on Sunday.
Like Wednesday, Love will wear a sleeve and brace on his left knee during Thursday’s training session.
The Packers also returned to practice Thursday with receiver Jayden Reed (calf) and left guard Elgton Jenkins (illness/glute). Both did not play Wednesday.
The Packers evened their record at 1-1 with a 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday. A dominant running game and defensive effort from backup Malik Willis helped the Packers win their 12th consecutive home opener.
