This Wisconsin Football staff scheduled a game-day visit with one of the top quarterbacks in the 2027 recruiting class.
Teddy Jarrard, arguably one of the top quarterbacks in the 2027 class, hails from Georgia and has caught the attention of many. The quarterback not only has a mighty, exact arm, but also speed on the field that makes a difference.
We had a great time with #GoBadger family @TrenerPhilLongo @TrenerFick and we won the Wisconsin Scavenger Hunt. 🔥@jarin_mock26 I can’t wait to return during the season. @NCCEaglesFb @rvfc10 photo:twitter.com/9INYpkny9j

Jarrard has visited campus in the past and had an “excellent” visit, during which he was also able to meet with the football staff. The athlete visited with fellow quarterback and 2026 recruit Jarin Mock, who committed to Wisconsin after his visit.
Jarrard is considered “the guy” by the Badgers staff, especially when it comes to the 2027 quarterbacks. Wisconsin believes Jarrard is the best quarterback in the class and will slide into the offense with ease.
Offensive coordinator Phil Longo is known for liking elevated quarterbacks, which is one reason Longo added Jarrard to his list of targets. The quarterback has a great frame at 6-foot-3 and nearly 200 pounds, and he still has plenty of room to grow.
The Wisconsin football staff will have another chance to throw Madison to Jarrard when the quarterback visits town in November. Jarrard will be in town to watch the Oregon Ducks play the Wisconsin football team in a pivotal matchup.
The Ducks have been a very mighty team so far, with three wins and invigorating, close games that have showcased the poise of quarterback Dillon Gabriel.
Wisconsin Football staff hosts quarterback Teddy Jarrard for Oregon Ducks game
Even though the Wisconsin football team didn’t have the best showing against a No. 1-ranked opponent, the rookies were still impressed with the experience.
Wide receiver Zachary Washington attended the Alabama-Wisconsin game and came away with a positive impression. While on paper Wisconsin may not beat Oregon, giving Jarrard a taste of what Madison looks like when the crown is in disarray might be enough.
Jarrard currently has offers from Virginia Tech, USF, and Wake Forest, among many other schools. Wisconsin is likely the top school to offer Jarrard, and the staff is hoping to get a commitment before other schools get involved.
So far, given his recruitment, Virginia Tech is considered the favorite to land Jarrard, according to projections On3 SportsThe Hokies were working to land a commitment before Wisconsin or other programs that have yet to make offers stepped in.
Great day with the Crimson Tide coach @KalenDeBoer @FBCoachSheridan @AlabamaFTBL Thank you for the opportunity to compete with some really good quarterbacks. @NCCEaglesFb @rvfc10 @BALLERSCHOICE1 @SWiltfong_ @adamgorney @BHoward_11 @JohnGarcia_Jr @PrepRedzoneNext photo:twitter.com/Kzp6x1os8I

Georgia and Alabama are two programs worth keeping an eye on when recruiting Jarrard. The quarterback attended camps at both schools and would not only be able to compete at a high level at both schools, but he would also be close to home.
