Hunter education, archery in schools, field courses, and other outdoor school activities provide unparalleled enrichment opportunities for students from all walks of life. These programs provide students with key life skills, and according to teachers involved in these programs, student participation was correlated with improved academic performance, behavior, and school attendance.
Unfortunately, some of these programs are at risk of losing significant federal funding.
