First, the good news: Cornerback Carrington Valentine (ankle) and offensive lineman Jordan Morgan (shoulder) have returned to practice on a restricted basis. Both have missed the last two weeks due to injury, but their availability for Sunday is now increasing.

Point guard Jordan Love (knee) is again listed as restricted, but is increasing his practice reps and is getting closer to full participation. Love said he feels good after his first start since the knee injury.

Four players are dealing with novel injuries and did not practice Wednesday: offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins (knee), tight end Luke Musgrave (ankle), receiver Christian Watson (ankle) and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt (ankle).

Cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) did not practice after missing Sunday’s loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Neither did defensive lineman Kenny Clark, who is dealing with a lingering finger injury.

No exercise on Wednesday is not a sure sign of availability, but it’s worth monitoring all six for the rest of the week. The Packers practice again on Thursday and Friday.

One other injury to note: Rookie defenseman Edgerrin Cooper has had issues with a hip injury. He suffered a hip injury during training camp, but it is unclear whether this injury is related.

The Packers received better-than-expected news on Watson, who suffered an ankle injury but is not expected to be injured. He will almost certainly miss Sunday’s trip to Los Angeles. The team is waiting for more information on Wyatt’s ankle injury. It is unclear when Musgrave was injured.

The Rams were without receiver Cooper Kupp, who will not play on Sunday. Linebacker Larrell Murchison, linebacker Darious Williams and receiver Demarcus Robinson were restricted on Wednesday.

The Packers and Rams will release an updated injury report on Thursday and will release a final injury report on Friday.
