Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames and New York Mets outfielder Jesse Winker were caught barking during Game 1 of the Wild Card Series. Things got heated between the two after Winker hit a two-RBI triple into the right field corner. Jomboy Media did a great job of breaking it down and also lip-reading what was probably being said.
From Jomboy’s mouth comes a jaw-dropper between Milwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames and New York Mets outfielder Jesse Winker.
Warning: The video below contains adult content. During the video breakdown, Jomboy reveals that while Jesse Winker was manning the bases, he was shouting something. It is unclear whether he was shouting in excitement, to his dugout, or to a specific person, but Willy Adames heard him, seemed slightly surprised by it, and then responded with his own words.

Was there any prior bad blood between Jesse Winker and the Milwaukee Brewers?
Jesse Winker spent the 2023 season with the Brewers and struggled mightily as he amassed just six extra base hits all year (197 plate appearances). He returned to play for the Washington Nationals that year and was traded to the Mets at the deadline. When he returned to American Family Field for the final series of the regular season, he heard some boos from fans, but he was also hit on the buttock in what some believed was an intentional hit across the field.
Jesse Winker declined to comment on what was said between him and Willy Adames, but Adames’ conversation provided some insights.
After the match, Jesse Winker did not want to tell reporters what was said between him and Willy Adames because he just wants to focus on the next match. Adames, on the other hand, said, “I don’t know what was going through his mind, but he just started saying something. It was surprising that he would say such things. I think it’s part of his personality. It was a bit of a surprise for me, but we’re not going back.
The second game between the Brewers and Mets will be on Wednesday, October 2. Frankie Montas will get the ball for Milwaukee and Sean Manaea will get the ball for New York.
