Bayfield Apple Festival 2024: October 4, 5 and 6

2024 marks the 62nd year of the Bayfield Primary Festival and we have some invigorating activities planned!

This three-day festival takes place every year and starts on the first Friday of October. This is the perfect time to come to Bayfield to see the fall colors and take home Wisconsin-grown apples. Pick them yourself or buy a bag from one of the seven apple orchards.

Special events include the coronation of an Apple Festival Queen selected from Bayfield’s Orchard families, an apple peeling contest and the Grand Parade on Sunday afternoon.

The Bayfield Chamber & Visitors Bureau invites you to “Wisconsin’s Best Festivals” from Wisconsin Trails Magazine. Enjoy two live music venues throughout the three-day weekend: Big Top Chautauqua’s Blue Canvas Orchestra on the Grandstand Stage and lakeside concerts at Memorial Park in Downtown Bayfield featuring local artists.

62 years of one of Wisconsin’s premier festivals, held on the shores of Lake Superior in Bayfield, Wisconsin, honored by the Chicago Tribune as the best tiny town in the Midwest and Smithsonian Magazine as one of the best tiny towns in America.
