The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board (NRB) has adopted final regulations for the 2023 deer season after extended discussion about the difference between DNR and Marathon County Deer Advisory Council (CDAC) recommendations.
The Marathon CDAC has reduced the antlerless private land premium level from last year’s 2,000 to 1,800 this fall. The DNR recommended to the NRB that the county’s supplemental permit level remain at 2,000.
