The Milwaukee Bucks are in the process of preparing for the upcoming 2024-25 NFL season. After last Sunday’s road loss to the Detroit Pistons, they still have three games left in the 2024 preseason.
The next step for the Bucks will be a home game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday. But not before Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo took to Instagram Story on Wednesday morning to post an intriguing post showing off his younger self along with the following caption: “If no one catches me, I GOT ME!!”

It’s probably just an unrestrained burger from a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player who perhaps just wanted to give himself some extra motivation. The Bucks are coming off an embarrassing exit from the 2024 NBA Playoffs, where they were eliminated by Tyrese Haliburton and the Indiana Pacers in the first round.

The Bucks didn’t make any substantial moves this offseason, although they did acquire players like Delon Wright, Taurean Prince and Gary Trent Jr. who can contribute to the supporting cast of Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Ultimately, Antetokounmpo has the heaviest workload of any Bucks player.
The good news for the Bucks is that the Greek Freak is still in great shape. In the 2023-24 NBA season, he averaged 30.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists, shooting 61.1% from the floor and finishing fourth in MVP voting.
Antetokoumpo did not play in the Pistons game, although he is not struggling with an injury. It would also not be a surprise if he was lost in the preseason matchup with the Lakers. However, he should appear on the court on October 23, when the Bucks begin their regular season with an away game against the Philadelphia 76ers.
