Soiled stream water doesn’t have to disrupt your fishing plans

Two cars were already parked in a makeshift gravel parking lot near a trout stream in western Wisconsin, and the other had just driven away.
It was a frosty morning by July standards. The forecast called for rain. And the previous night’s storm had probably ruined the stream’s pristine clarity, turning it from moon-clear to a shade like bourbon in a glass.
