Unfortunately, there are viewing conflicts. Early games featuring Titans vs. Bills and Bengals vs. Browns will take up a portion of the prime broadcast areas, and CBS’ tardy games featuring Panthers vs. Commanders and Raider vs. Rams will take up another decent chunk.

FOX will get a Week 7 doubleheader and show 49ers vs. Chiefs in tardy hours, so the Minneapolis market – and a few others – didn’t get the early CBS premiere.

However, in many markets, including Chicago, Kansas City, Denver, Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, New Orleans, San Francisco and Miami, the Packers vs. Texans will be available.

Jim Nantz and Tony Romo — CBS’ top team — will call Packers vs. Texans.

The Texans are 5-1 and lead the AFC South. The Packers are 4-2 and competing in the historically great NFC North. Both teams were trendy Super Bowl picks heading into the 2024 season.

Jordan Love’s Packers will start at noon on Sunday at Lambeau Field against CJ Stroud’s Texans.
