At the University of Wisconsin, offensive lineman Benjamin Novak will be joined by three-star quarterback from Pickerington North High School. The Badgers added their second commit to the 2026 recruiting class. Had nine various scholarship offers from various universities before making a decision on Monday. Novak has been a priority for offensive linemen head coach AJ Blazek, who has done a good job recruiting players.

Novak, who was expected to be a center forward, had offers from Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville and several different schools. He is committed to Wisconsin, and Novak is starting what could be another very forceful OL class for offensive linemen head coach AJ Blazek.

“Wisconsin is definitely at the top of my league right now. The hospitality, the coaches, the facilities, everything about the Badgers made me feel very good about them.

2026 offensive lineman Benjamin Navok shared how he feels about attending Wisconsin.

“My parents got a great vibe from coach (AJ) Blazek and coach (Luke) Fickell. My parents and I truly love everything about Wisconsin and what the school has to offer.”

When it comes to job evaluation, especially to create the best possible CV, a constant challenge for recent employees is to maintain this tradition. Blazek had plenty of experience with this before coming to Madison, while Rabach, a former Badger, brings great context of tradition here at the position.

From what the Badgers have always done best, Novak is a gigantic prototype for a Midwestern prospect. He comes from a good high school program and is very artistic.

In terms of his fit, Wisconsin has a very full offensive line class for 2025, and the plan would likely be to draft something close to that class in 2026. Novak is the first piece of the puzzle, and depending on who else enters the class, we could see as he tries several positions along the line.

Novak adds dimension and versatility to Wisconsin’s depth-loving offensive line. The combination of good size and strength could make him an offensive weapon if he successfully transitions to collegiate play.
