I was thrilled to see Mark Noll, a dairy farmer from Alma, nominated for our environmentalist of the year award. I have followed Noll’s work with the Environmental Protection Congress for more years than I would like to admit. Noll has always struck me as someone who can remain composed in an arena where common sense can fail in a hurry. Not to mention the guy has a great sense of humor.
