Two substantial news for the Jacksonville Jaguars ahead of Matt LaFleur and the Green Bay Packers’ visit Sunday: Linebacker Foye Oluokun has been activated from injured reserve and left guard Cam Robinson has entered the concussion protocol, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.
The availability of Oluokun and Robinson should strengthen the Jaguars on both ends of the court.
Oluokun, a talented stopper and center back, is returning from a foot injury that has cost him the last four games. Over the past two seasons, Oluokun has averaged nearly 180 tackles per season, and during his first season in Jacksonville in 2022, he led the NFL with 184 total tackles. He has led the NFL in solo receptions for the last two years.
In three games entering 2024, Oluokun has recorded 22 tackles, 1.0 sack, three tackles for loss and two pass breakups.
Robinson, now an eight-year veteran, started all seven games for the Jaguars on the left wing. If he is available Sunday as expected, Robinson will be making his 92nd career start, all with the Jaguars.
Robinson missed last week’s win over the New England Patriots with a concussion. He was listed as questionable on the final injury report, but the Jaguars removed his status designation.
Robinson is the Jaguars’ highest-rated offensive lineman in Pro Football Focus in 2024. He allowed 15 tackles, including four sacks, and took three penalties in a total of 365 snaps.
The Packers and Jaguars game is scheduled for Sunday at 12 p.m. ET at EverBank Stadium.
