Keith Warnke, former DNR biologist, represented the Air Gun Sporting Association at the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation (WWF) annual meeting on large-bore air guns and their potential operate in deer hunting.
After retiring from the DNR, Warnke went to a meeting and happened to meet a friend who runs the Air Rifle Sports Association. The group wants to pass a law allowing the operate of large-barreled air guns for deer hunting in Wisconsin. Warnke was asked to facilitate change the statute.
