Milwaukee Brewers 2023 first-round draft pick Brock Wilken was selected to participate in the 2024 Arizona Fall League (AFL) home run derby. A total of eight competitors will take part in the competition. The home run derby will take place on November 8.

Scouts gave Brock Wilken a 60 power rating after he was drafted in the first round out of Wake Forest University. He hit 17 home runs in college in 2021, 23 home runs in 2022 and 31 in his final season in 2023. He hit 17 home runs in his first professional season with the Brewers. He hit three home runs in 18 games in this year’s AFL.
Who else will take part in the AFL home run derby?
In addition to Brock Wilken, the seven other participants were Carter Jensen, Josue Briceno, Peyton Williams, Jac Caglianone, Kala’i Rosario, Moises Ballesteros and Garrett Martin. Kala’i Rosario is the reigning AFL home derby champion and will be looking to defend his crown.
