Before Giannis Antetokounmpo won the Milwaukee Bucks their first NBA title in 50 years, the team made every effort to build a sturdy lineup that helped the Greek Freak make the playoffs.
However, they managed to create the perfect lineup that helped them win NBA title in 2021 against the Phoenix Suns, they had to go through many iterations before they found the right one. They did everything they could to give Giannis the teammates he needed to ensure a sturdy playoff run.
But the glory might make people forget that the team wouldn’t have reached this point without the players who had worn Bucks jerseys since Giannis’ breakout season in the league.
One such player announced that he was leaving basketball after four years of not playing in the NBA.

Many Bucks fans remember Henson as an intriguing huge man who would become a reliable presence on the team in the 2010s. However, the 6’9″ forward/center failed to secure a spot with the Bucks as his low production and health forced the team to move on from him prior to the 2019-20 season.
His best season came in his sophomore campaign, where he averaged over 10 points for the first and last time in his career. Fans last saw him playing for the Detroit Pistons during the pandemic-affected 2019-20 season before he quietly left the league.
Will Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks win another championship?
While many Bucks fans remember Henson fondly, their focus remains on the current Bucks and what the team can do to bring another Larry O’Brien trophy back to Wisconsin.
Damian Lillard must step into the role of the Greek Freak’s partner if the team wants to get back to the finals. Brook Lopez and the rest of the Milwaukee team must also do their part to make things easier for their star.
