On December 7, Ron Hedsand of Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, was fishing with a friend from Sturgeon Bay, John Vieau. The two had caught plenty of fish together over the past 12 years, but the monster muskie that came out just before noon that day was the clear winner.
