Wisconsin Badgers: Game preview vs. UCF Knights

The Wisconsin Badgers will be looking to maintain their unbeaten season when they travel to face Liverpool UCF Knights on Friday. Information about the competition will take place at 4:00 p.m. Polish time and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Wisconsin is 5-0 this season and UCF is 4-0.

This game won’t be effortless for the Badgers in hard conditions. The Badgers are ranked 19th in the nation and the Knights are unranked.

Badgers head coach Greg Gard has had a surprising start to the 2024-2025 college basketball season after many people wrote him off in the offseason. In the last game against UTRGV, three players scored in double figures for the Wisconsin Badgers.

John Blackwell scored 30 points, grabbed seven rebounds and had three assists. John Tonje scored 19 points and was one of the biggest stories for the Badgers basketball program this season. Max Klesmit also added 11 points in this game. They have started the season well and need to be effective in attack if they want to remain undefeated.

Johnny Dawkins is the head coach of UCF. They last played against Tennessee Tech on Tuesday. Four players scored in double figures for the Knights. He scored 20 points, grabbed eight rebounds and recorded five assists. Jordan Ivy-Curry scored 15 points, collected two rebounds and made four assists in the last game.

Dallan Coleman scored 14 points and grabbed five rebounds. JJ Taylor also added 11 points for the UCF Knights. The Badgers want to avoid Friday’s game against the Knights on the road.
