For the first time since release, the Milwaukee Bucks are trading above .500. On Saturday, Milwaukee had a thrilling match against the Washington Wizards 124-114, shooting 51% from the field and extending their winning streak to six games. The Bucks got a phenomenal performance from their star tandem, with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard contributing 67 points, 17 rebounds and 21 assists. However, Antetokounmpo had a record-breaking performance, recording his third triple-double of the season and second in the last three games.
Antetokounmpo, one of the most complete basketball players in the NBA, continues to refine his scoring, passing and rebounding skills, as evidenced by Saturday’s triple-double. With 42 points. Antetokounmpo, who had 12 rebounds and 11 assists, tied with three Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famers for triple-doubles.

All-time great.
In his 17th regular season game, Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his 47th triple-double. Antetokounmpo was an All-Star 13 times and scored seven times Wilt Chamberlain for most 30-point triple-doubles in effort. Antetokounmpo recorded a triple-double of 42 points in Saturday’s victory. The Greek Freak also tied NBA great Michael Jordan for the most 35-point triple-doubles. Last season, Antetokounmpo set a modern career high by recording a triple-double in a season with ten goals. Antetokounmpo, an eight-time All-Star and two-time MVP, led the league on Saturday with 32.4 points per game. He also averages 11.9 rebounds and 6.4 assists.
The Milwaukee Bucks are looking for continued consistency
Thanks to Giannis Antetokounmpo’s impressive 42-point triple-double, the Milwaukee Bucks claimed their sixth straight victory. They have also won eight of their last ten. After winning the first game of the regular season against the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee lost six straight and eight of the next nine games. However, they bounced back nicely, winning six in a row, including Saturday’s 124-114 victory over the Wizards. They also defeated the Houston Rockets, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Charlotte Hornets and Miami Heat during that span.
Milwaukee will have two days off before Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons. Their return will be quick as they face the Atlanta Hawks at home on Wednesday before heading on a three-game road trip.
