The Milwaukee Bucks have booked tickets to Las Vegas after qualifying for the NBA Cup semifinals with a 114-109 victory over the Orlando Magic last Tuesday. The team went through a lot at the beginning of the season, but they stayed the course and here they are.
Doc Rivers is excited about the possibility of winning the NBA Cup, and according to the head coach, the Milwaukee Bucks are preparing for battle by “bringing wheelchairs” to Sin City, citing the team’s collective senior age.
“I mean, we will bring our wheelchairs to the cup because we have these three youthful teams. You know, everyone, Atlanta is youthful. Oklahoma is youthful. Houston is youthful. Then here comes the senior Milwaukee Bucks. Rivers joked.
“You know, this is what we’re going to be. We’ll just roll in wheelchairs, walk in with canes, and see if we can just play basketball. That’s what we intend to do,” he added.
