Dean Bortz: A tribute to my friend Tom Coulthurst and our many adventures

I met Tom Coulthurst shortly after moving to the Minocqua/Woodruff area of ​​Wisconsin in June 1986 to work as a reporter at The Lakeland Times. It was summer. Probably 1986 or 1987.
I went to his custom taxidermy shop because Tom had hit a hole in one at the local golf course. The editor said we needed a story. On a hole in one? Someone got lucky. There is no story there. But I went anyway without complaining because I also had the opportunity to look at stuffed fish.
