Fitchburg’s Holiday Lights Tour returns in 2024 with even more holiday fun! This year’s event will be a weekend event and will provide local businesses with festive celebrations.
The fun begins on Friday, December 13 from 5-8 p.m. with the Get Festive at Agora community celebration. Enjoy a special lighting ceremony at 5:15 p.m., a carriage ride, cookie decorating, an outdoor vacation movie, and much more. Gather and enjoy the music in the square while sipping heated mulled wine, local beers and festive food and treats.
Enjoy holiday activities and great deals at stores and restaurants throughout Fitchburg all weekend long! See Santa Claus at Fitchburg Fire Station #1, have breakfast with the Grinch at Me & Julio, wrap presents at Matt Wizenreied, and stop by Delta Beer Lab for cookies, games, and more!
Residents and businesses participating in the citywide Holiday Lights Tour will be able to share their animated sculptures, interactive displays, twinkling lights and holiday decorations, bringing excitement to everyone as they explore the city and take in the sights. Visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite decorated display of participating homes and enter their favorite streets using the voting link. The voting link will be made available on the day of the event. I’m asking for one vote per person.
Families and guests are encouraged to take a drive to view the lights from their vehicle. Please do not touch any of the displays. Also this year, decorated city vehicles will be on display at the fire station at 5791 Lacy Road. Come see Santa Claus and receive a special treat!
