Milwaukee Bucks: Effective performance by Damian Lillard in the game against Thunder

The Milwaukee Bucks are the NBA Cup champions, and after a shaky start to the season with a 1-6 record, they returned with a convincing victory 97-81 over the Oklahoma City Thunder. The win in Las Vegas was the biggest turnaround of the season as the Bucks won 14 of their last 20 games to improve their record to 14-11.

The Bucks also made 17 three-pointers, ending their unblemished streak and becoming their second tournament champion of the season after the Los Angeles Lakers. For the Bucks, it was the first NBA Championship in franchise history, during which each team member earned approximately $515,000.

Damian Lillard averaged 27.3 PPG on 48.5 FG%, which equates to 4 RPG and 8.3 APG in the NBA Cup this season, and yesterday he defeated Shai Gilgeous Alexander in the finals. Scored 37 points and provided 12 assists in a game against Miami Heat on November 26, 2024.
