Damian Lillard and the Milwaukee Bucks made a substantial statement last Tuesday, ending their 2024 NBA Cup dominance with an emphatic 97-81 victory in Las Vegas over the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was awarded the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. He and Lillard were also named to the All-Tournament Team, which was selected by the media panel.
In addition to Lillard and Antetokounmpo, the other members of the 2024 NBA Cup All-Tournament team were Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Thunder, Alperen Sengun of the Houston Rockets and Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks.

On Thursday, Lillard showed off his and Antetokounmpo’s all-tournament honors with a social media post on Instagram Story.

Antetokounmpo and Lillard played huge roles in the Bucks’ NBA Cup success. During the tournament, Antetokounmpo averaged 30.5 points on 66.7% shooting from the field, 10.2 rebounds and 7.7 assists. Lillard, in turn, scored 27.3 points, shooting 45.9% from beyond the arc, 8.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds.
After winning the NBA Cup Finals, the Bucks will look to keep their winning streak going when they take on the threatening Cleveland Cavaliers this Friday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland in a matchup between two of the best teams in the East.
