Wisconsin basketball: Frank Kaminsky is turning heads with his latest career move

On Monday, Raptors 905 officially announced that Kaminsky would be added to the team’s roster.

This move by Raptors 905 comes just ahead of the NBAGL 2024 winter showcase in Orlando.

More from Sportsnet’s Blake Murphy: :

Raptors 905 have a high priority on moving on from losing Carlson to the Thunder and his 21-plus days.

Kaminsky, 31, is not eligible to play on a two-way team, but it is a place for him to show himself to other NBA teams before his 10-day contract season in January.

The 905 also helps a lot in attack.

Here are some online fan reactions to Kaminski’s latest move:

“FRANK TANK 🔥”

“I would actually watch the match thanks to this transfer.”

“omg I love this caption 🔥”

“The best player to ever come out of Wisconsin is a G League player 😭”

“He should play in the NBA”

Prior to this latest career move, Kaminsky played in Serbia for Partizan Belgrade and also donned the country’s colors in November’s AmeriCup qualifiers.

Kaminsky, who has eight years of NBA experience, will always be known for his on-court exploits during his Wisconsin basketball career. In four seasons with the Badgers, Kaminsky averaged 10.1 points and 4.6 rebounds, shooting 52.2% from the floor and 36.9% from deep.

He was also named the 2015 National College Player of the Year. The Charlotte Hornets selected him ninth overall in the first round of the 2015 NBA draft. In the NBA, he also played for the Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets.
