The Cleveland Cavaliers will miss Isaac Okoro due to a shoulder injury, but may see Max Strus return in tomorrow’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Max Strus did not play in the 2024-25 regular season after suffering a severe ankle sprain during an individual training session last October. The Cleveland Cavaliers gave him the questionable tag against the Milwaukee Bucks. If Strus has his way, he will play against the current NBA Cup champions.
“Nine weeks is a long time. It was hard. There have definitely been dark days. But this is the best team. Best vibes I’ve ever seen” Strus said via Chris Fedor of Cleveland.com.
“These guys made it easy, kept me engaged, kept me around and made sure they reached out to us when I needed it. I can’t wait to come back,” he added.
In his first full season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Strus He averaged 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game, while shooting 41.8% from the field and 35.1% from three-point range.

“I’m very excited,” Atkinson said of Strus’ return. “How will he feel tomorrow? When does he feel comfortable? When does the medical team feel comfortable with this? We are already very close.
“The reception was really good today. What does he look like now when he wakes up? That’s really going to be the trigger for what happens. He has looked phenomenal over the last two days,” he added.
