Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster signs two-year contract extension to remain in the broadcast booth

The Milwaukee Brewers telecast will experience significant changes in 2025 as MLB takes over production of games, including pre- and post-game programming. Viewers can expect a different visual experience with novel camera angles, including the referee’s view and drone shots. However, the familiar voices in the cabin will remain the same as the broadcast team will return intact. Recently, one of the television broadcasters announced publicly that it had signed a two-year extension of the contract for subsequent seasons.

In October, Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger announced that all major broadcasters, including Brian Anderson, Jeff Levering, Bill Schroeder, Sophia Minnaert, Vinny Rottino and Tim Dillard will return in 2025. Schlesinger said, “I want viewers to see the familiar, high quality of our live talent next year.”

During 96.5 WKLH Milwaukee, Bill Schroeder indicated that after signing his contract, he will return to the broadcast booth for at least two more seasons. Last year, Schroeder celebrated its 30th anniversary at this stand, and since 1994 it has been an integral part of the program.

Milwaukee Brewers players watch the first of two doubleheader games between the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves before practice for Tuesday’s Milwaukee Brewers National League Wild Card playoff series at American Family Field in Milwaukee on Monday, September 30. 2024.

If you’ve previously watched Brewers games on your cable or satellite provider, you don’t need to make any changes for next year. For those who previously watched through other means, a subscription to the MLB streaming service will be required. This service will not have any restrictions due to power outages. If the cost remains the same as other soccer clubs that used the service last year, a season pass will cost $99.99.
