BREAKING: Badgers steal national championship from Michigan Wolverines (report)

The Wisconsin Badgers will need to make many changes if they want to return to competitive form in 2025. In two seasons as Wisconsin’s head coach, Luke Fickell is 13-13. This is a far cry from the national championship aspirations he brought to the program when he was hired.

This offseason will be dedicated to modernizing the squad in every way possible.

On Saturday, Wisconsin scored approx commitment from Michigan transfer specialist Stone Anderson:

Anderson entered the portal after two years with the Wolverines. He is the second Badgers member on special teams, joining longtime Arkansas snapper Eli Stein.

On3 lists Anderson as a three-star signing, specifically as the No. 1,939 player overall in the portal and the No. 30 player.

Anderson should enter 2025 as Wisconsin’s primary backup behind longtime starter Atticus Bertrams. The transfer specialist is also listed as a playmaker, so he can play an vital role in both positions. The backup role at Kicker recently opened up with the departure of veteran Nate Van Zelst.

Anderson will have three years of eligibility left when he joins the Badgers. Michigan didn’t allow him to play a single game during his two seasons.
