Before Wednesday, the last time the Milwaukee Bucks and San Antonio Spurs faced each other was in January 2024.
That’s why the latest meeting between the two teams had many fans excited, especially since it was supposed to feature a battle between two unicorns in two-time NBA Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo and 2024 NBA Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama.
Wembanyama made an unreal shot against the Milwaukee Bucks
Early in the game, Wembanyama showed off his incredible combination of size, length, mobility and athleticism in one fell swoop, attacking the baseline and finishing at the rim against Antetokounmpo.

It was an amazing sight that immediately stirred emotions among basketball fans.
“It’s something you do jokingly, playing HORSE with your friends, and they get pissed when it finally goes in after you’ve tried it 12 times.”

Antetokounmpo, however, had the last laugh in the game as the Bucks won 121-105. The Bucks superstar finished with 25 points, 16 rebounds and eight assists. Meanwhile, Wembanyama had just 10 points with 10 rebounds, three blocks and two steals.
The Bucks are currently over .500 in three games with a 19-16 record and will look to maintain that on Friday when they visit the Orlando Magic.
