MLB sparks wild reactions after World Series predictions for Milwaukee Brewers and others

Not much is happening in the MLB world right now. Sure, there’s free agency and some competition, but when it comes to pure baseball action, there’s simply nothing from the Milwaukee Brewers and the rest of the massive leagues. Meet the MLB social media team who recently released some World Series predictions for the next few years.

One of these predictions assumed that the MLB Brewers would reach the World Series in 2030, but would lose to the Seattle Mariners in this year’s Fall Classic.

As predicted, the Los Angeles Dodgers will successfully defend their World Series title in 2025, and the Detroit Tigers will finish second in the massive leagues.

The New York Mets, who made a splash in the offseason by winning the Juan Soto sweepstakes, are projected to win the 2026 World Series by defeating the Boston Red Sox. Meanwhile, two of the worst teams currently, the Chicago White Sox and Oakland Athletics, have exceeded their projections for the 2033 and 2024 seasons, respectively.

Of course, MLB’s post shouldn’t be taken too seriously, but fans can’t stop reacting to it either.

“The Mets won’t win the World Series in the next decade with Juan Soto on their team.”

“How did the White Sox and A’s get on the list?”

“How can you even predict what MLB will look like in 2033?”

“Pittsburgh will reach WS in 2028? Did they just pull random teams from the Netherlands out of a hat?”

“If MLB thought Rangers-Diamondbacks was a tough World Series, get ready for Mariners-Brewers!”

“This is ridiculous. It’s impossible to predict anything other than next year.”

Ultimately, time will tell if any of these predictions for the Milwaukee Brewers and others will come true.
