Packers QBs Jordan Love and Malik Willis, both full participants in Thursday’s practice

Green Bay Packers quarterbacks Jordan Love and Malik Willis were full participants in Thursday’s practice after being confined on Wednesday.

Love is struggling with a right elbow injury, and Willis is struggling with a right thumb injury before the season finale. Both right-handed quarterbacks took a substantial step toward playing in Sunday’s NFC Wild Card game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Love “looked good” at practice Thursday.

Love suffered an ulnar nerve injury after falling to the ground in the second quarter last Sunday at Lambeau Field. He lost feeling in his hands and fingers, but Love says he regained it by Monday morning this week.

Full participation in Thursday’s practice should mean Love will be able to participate without restrictions in Sunday’s playoff game in Philadelphia. The second-year point guard could start the playoffs for the third time in his career if he is indeed ready for Sunday.

The Packers should also have Willis as a backup option. As recently as Wednesday, he had trouble holding the ball after being hit with his right thumb against the Bears.

Defensive lineman TJ Slaton also returned to practice after Wednesday’s absence. He had confined options on Thursday.

The Packers will release an updated health report on Thursday, but will release their final health report and playing status determination on Friday.
