Sections Josh Jacobs goes into Beast Mode to power TD drive, Jayden Reed out with shoulder injury

Josh Jacobs had an incredible touchdown run, but the Green Bay Packers lost another receiver – this time Jayden Reed – to injury in the second half of Sunday’s NFC Wild Card round.

Jacobs caught the ball 15 yards to start the drive, went Beast Mode for 31 yards, and then capped the march with a 1-yard score to cut the Eagles’ lead to 16-10 in the fourth quarter.

The nine-play, 78-yard series included a 13-yard catch by Reed and a key 10-yard catch by Dontayvion Wicks on third down. However, Reed went down with a shoulder injury during the catch and his return is questionable.

The Packers were already without Christian Watson, and now Romeo Doubs (concussion) and Reed have left the team due to injuries. Wicks, Bo Melton and Malik Heath will play the receiver position for the rest of the Packers offense.

Here’s Jacobs’ incredible touchdown run:

As many as seven different Eagles defenders had a chance to take him down, but Jacobs managed to convert the run into a 31-yard field goal and a near-touchdown. When he ruled a touchdown on the field, replay overturned the call and knocked him down at the 1-yard line. Jacobs scored one play later.
