Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers recently praised Khris Middleton for his professionalism as the 33-year-old swingman has fully embraced his role off the bench.
“He’s starting to get into his rhythm, and more importantly, he’s starting to get into his groove with this unit,” Rivers said of Middleton after last Wednesday’s win over the Orlando Magic via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
“And they’re starting to get into a rhythm with him. You can see his bonuses. he comes in, he’s already received the ball many times, so he can get into a rhythm. It was really good,” he added.
Since being completely relegated to the second division last week, Middleton has averaged 12.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game while shooting 57.5% from the field.

Khris Middleton he also performed well for the Milwaukee Bucks 130-112 victory over the Toronto Raptors last Friday, scoring 13 points, three rebounds and five assists while shooting 4 of 6 from the field and a perfect 3 of 3 from the free throw line.
Thanks to his efficient play, the three-time NBA All-Star closed the game with his teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“I mean, if I just stay on the path – at least try to stay on it – I still have a long way to go, like I’ve always said. I just have to be on the court, be on the field and play, that’s all,” Middleton said.
