Former Milwaukee Brewers pitcher CC Sabathia is now went to Cooperstown. This is after it received 86.8 percent of the votes to become the first baseball facility. On Tuesday, after learning of the amazing news, Sabathia hopped on social media and posted the following message via X (the social media platform formerly known as Twitter):

From a fan who recalled one moment about Sabathia’s time in the gigantic leagues: “I’ll never forget you hit a run at Dodger Stadium about 16-17 years ago. My father and I sat behind home plate until it got too hot. I think the game was right before I left Cleveland. Congratulations! “

A six-time All-Star and former world champion, Sabathia played for the Cleveland Indians from 2001-2008 before spending Brief time with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2008. He would later pitch for a decade for the New York Yankees from 2009–2019 before retiring.
He finished his MLB baseball career with a 251-161 record and a 3.74 ERA to go along with 3,093 strikeouts.
