Department of Sheriff Fond Du Lac and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Wardens ask for lend a hand in investigating a deer poaching program with the participation of dozens of deer and covering almost 200 square miles in Fond du Lac, Washington and Dodge.
Sheriff of Fond du Lac, Ryan Waldschmidt, said that the investigation began when a resident called DNR.
“In mid-July we received a call of a strong smell from garbage at the neighbor’s house,” said Waldschmidt.
