Offensive offensive coordinator Green Bay Packers, Adam Stenavich, is to run on the same work with Houston Texans, in accordance with reports with Aaron Wilson from KPRC-2 in Houston.
Stenavich, who does not call the plays in Green Bay, previously interviewed Chicago Bears on the full work of the main trainer and Seattle Seahawks to complete the work of the offensive coordinator.
Per Wilson, Stenavich would be the eighth different candidate to interview the Texans regarding open work. Texans Demeco Ryans’ coach released the offensive coordinator and PlayCaller Bobby Slowick after the 2024 season.
Packers cannot block the interview for Stenavich, because the ringing of games as an offensive coordinator would be seen as a promotion. Matt Lafleur is now calling Packers.
Stenavich, a collegiate offensive liner in Michigan, came to Green Bay as a coach of the offensive line at the lafleur coaching staff. Later he was promoted to the game coordinator, and then to the offensive coordinator after Nathaniel Hackett went to a coaching position in 2022.
The offensive Stenavich line can be attractive to the Texans team, in which the stars of the playmaker CJ Stroud was released 52 times in 2024.
Texans lost to Packers in Green Bay, but they still won AFC South with a 10-7 record, and then defeated Los Angeles Chargers in the first round of Playoffs.
Luke Getsy, who returned to Packers as a senior offensive assistant, can be the best option at the offensive coordinator if Stenavich leaves.
