Six years after the decision -makers from Wisconsin panicked the decline in the population population, “Thunder chickens” climbed their drumming in gigantic quantities this spring.
DNR reports that nationwide drums increased by 57% compared to the year of the year, increasing 60% in the north and 41% in central areas. Drums fell by 56% in a region without a drift. Data on drums this spring was not only four previous maximas since the start of surveys in 1993. These ups took place in 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2011.
