Packers’ sections add a former assistant to the Patriots coach to the defense staff

Green Bay Packers employs the former assistant of the New England Patriots coach, Jamael Lett as a defensive quality control coach in Matt Lafleur staff, According to Matt Zenitz from CBS Sports.

Lett, who played collegiately as a defender in Samford in 2006–2010, spent last year as a defense assistant/quality control at Jeroda Mayo in New England, which means that he cooperated with the former coordinator of Patriots defense and trainer Packers Demarcus Covington.

The connection probably led to employment. Lett and Covington played football together in Samford and trained together in Ut-Martin for a year.
