Patrick Durkin: The last study offers a detailed look at the falling numbers of Hunter Wisconsin

More women and crossbow hunters have joined the ranks of Wisconsin deer hunting over the past decade, but these benefits have not stopped a decline in the number of hunters and the sale of licenses.
This is one of the latest DNR research conducted by the Operational Personnel Agency. The team has examined 18 years of license data collected since 2005 by a technologically advanced AliS licensing system. This software allows DNR to precisely follow and analyze centuries, gender, success indicators and patterns of buying hunters, anglers and trappers throughout their lives.
