For hundreds of years, the Luxembourg country has been celebrating Buergbrenna’s tradition. The villages are gathering to burn the winter and welcome in spring. Belgium, Wisconsin is proud of her Luxembourg roots and continuous connections with the Luxembourg country and is excited that she brings this European custom to the United States.
We will celebrate Buergbrennen at Buechler Farms in Belgium on Saturday, March 1 from 16-20. Free admission. Live music, children’s classes are included! In addition to purchasing suppliers, food, drinks and lighting toys, they will be available for purchase.
The door opens at 16:00 at 18.00, they join us for a procession from the barn to the Burn website, where recently the marriage of our community will give us the honor of lighting shine.
