Sharp-tailed sage-grouse in Wisconsin have received a boost in popularity as the Natural Resources Board (NRB) approved a up-to-date management plan that should lend a hand populations of these “dancing” birds.
The sharp-tailed grouse is native to Wisconsin and lives in open, barren areas. Once widespread, their population is now confined primarily to northwestern counties.
