For the first time since the County Deer Advisory Committee (CDAC) was formed, Washington County failed to obtain a quorum with only two members present, so no vote was taken on the 2024 deer season recommendations for the county.
Instead, last year’s recommendations were carried over to this year. Washington and Ozaukee counties held a joint CDAC meeting April 22 at the Mequon National Wildlife Refuge to establish antlerless harvest quotas and a deer season framework for the 2024 season.
