A veteran guitarist, singer and songwriter Tinsley Ellis is investigating a modern musical direction with his first solo acoustic album, *Naked Truth *. Known for over four fiery, electric blues-rock, Ellis now pays tribute to the folk traditions of blues water to Leo Kottke. Recorded live with his valued Martin D-35 from 1969 and 1937, *Naked Truth *reveals the harsh, stuffy side of Ellis, combining nine original songs and four intra-intrartive instruments, including Kotke’s cover *Grave of a soldier on the Pretair *. From the haunting “devil in the room” to the amusing “adult ass”, the abrasive vocals of Ellis and intricate guitar work bring unchanging intimacy to every song. Last year, performing over 100 solo shows, Ellis continues the concert, sharing this modern sound with fans in North America.
