“When I die, I know I’m not going to heaven because I’m there now,” said Pete Olson. “I fish every day and train basketball in winter.”
Olson, a well -known retired basketball trainer and Avid Muskie Fisherman, died of his 90th birthday, April 3. Olson was a Varsity basketball coach at the Lafollette High School in Madison for 30 years, where his teams won the four conference championships, and the Wiaa basketball championship in 1977 and 1982.
